I am not a professional chef. All of these recipes are easy to make and cheap to put together. * White Bread (2 loaves) 2 cups of warm water 1 packet of dry traditional yeast 4-5 cups of bread flour 1/4 cup of sugar 2 tbsp of canola oil 2 tsp of salt (I use kosher but any works) pour packet of yeast into a bowl with 2 cups of warm water add a pinch or two of sugar and wait for about 10 mins the yeast should start to bubble to the top, if not, start over with another packet of yeast add the remaining sugar, oil, salt, and the first 2 cups of flour stir until mixed completely add another 2-3 cups of flour while mixing knead the dough thoroughly for 5-8 minutes let rise in a greased for for 1.5 hours punch down dough to remove air bubbles divide dough into two and place into bread pans allow dough to rise again for at least 45 minutes bake both loaves at 350 for 30 minutes remove loaves from pans and allow to cool on a rack * Spicy Rice 1/2 cup of white rice (basmati or jasmine) 2-3 tbsp of Lao Gan Ma 1 cup of water cook the rice in your preferred way scoop into serving bowl add Lao Gan Ma mix and serve
