I'm a 24 y/o hobbyist web developer and computing enthusiast from Canada.
I'm a fan of Web Revival and tech degrowth movements. I believe a return to a small/indie/decentralized online landscape is an effective way to combat abusive practices employed by centralized social media entities. I also enjoy experimenting with the webpage as an art form and mode of self-expression.
This site is made up of iframe elements collected on the index.html document. Each "window" is its own .html file projected onto the page. That's why you can scroll up and down in the frames while the page itself stays still, and why the URL at the top doesn't change as you click through the page links.
You are free to use anything you find on this website for your own non-commercial purposes. All I ask is that you use whatever you take in some transformative way. You can find sources for the elements I don't own in the credits.txt file.
No. I maintain that technologies should be designed and built on a foundation of trust and cooperation, not on mistrust and greed. All of the above tech-bro-logies are bad-faith attempts to corral the commons into the control of a tech oligarchy.
